LA COSTA BRAVA
In its 80 miles of coastline, la Costa Brava alternates beaches of warm waters and spectacular cliffs where there are numerous points where to anchor and enjoy the Mediterranean in its purest form.
Tourist destination for many years, la Costa Brava is a place rich in culture, gastronomy, art, spectacular landscapes and also an ideal environment to enjoy the sea.
Marina Palamós is half a mile from the La Fosca beach, a place of great natural beauty and ideal for anchoring yout boat. La Fosca is the gateway to Castell-Cap Roig Natural Area, a protected area of 732 marine hectares.
Within this natural area is the unspoilt el Castell beach, Cala Estreta coves, La Foradada, Cala Canyers and Cala Senià, all of them a few miles away from the port, which make up one of the best preserved marine habitats of la Costa Brava.
In the North we can find the Cap Roig Botanical Garden, where every summer there is an important music festival. Then you arrive at the fishing villages of Llafranc, Tamariu and Calella, where every July there is an Habaneres festival.
Located in the centre of la Costa Brava, Palamós is a typical fishing village. Every evening, with the arrival of fishing boats in the port, it becomes a real spectacle for visitors.
