Every summer, Marina Palamós comes alive for one of its most special nights. A night that was born over 20 years ago with a simple idea: bringing the community together around a cause worth supporting, in one of the most beautiful settings on the Costa Brava. That’s Nits Blanques.

Over 20 years of a tradition that lives on

Nits Blanques is not a new event. For more than two decades, every August, the square at Marina Palamós dresses in white to host a charity evening that has grown year after year. What has never changed is the essence: enjoying a summer night by the sea while contributing to a real and meaningful cause.

This year we celebrate another edition, on 15th August 2026, and as always, entry to the concert is completely free.

The cause: Fundació Kàlida

All proceeds from Nits Blanques go to Fundació Kàlida, an organisation that works to improve the quality of life of people living with cancer and their families.

What makes Kàlida special is that all of its services are completely free of charge. They offer emotional support, psychological accompaniment, social care and wellbeing activities, all designed to cover needs that go beyond medical treatment. Because living with cancer affects much more than physical health, and Kàlida is there to provide support every step of the way.

Every euro raised at Nits Blanques goes directly towards maintaining these services and reaching more people and families in need.

The programme for the evening

The evening of 15th August begins at 7:30pm with charity dinners at the participating restaurants: Ca l’Amadeu, Mano and Marina Cafè. Each has prepared a special menu for the occasion. Reservations can be made by calling the restaurants or through this form: https://forms.gle/bKCUy4xoJdcE7FE98

At 10pm, the Marina Palamós square hosts the charity concert with pianist Leandro Avalle. The concert is free and open to all — no reservation needed, no ticket required. Just come, find a spot and let the music take you, with the sea as a backdrop.

The detail: dressed in white

Nits Blanques has a dress code: white. It’s not mandatory, but it’s part of the magic of the night. When the square fills with white under the stars, the atmosphere is unlike anything else. We encourage you to join in.

A night to enjoy and to give back

Nits Blanques is one of the moments of the year that best defines what Marina Palamós is: a space open to the community, committed to real causes and convinced that beautiful things can also do good.

We’ll see you on 15th August. Dressed in white, ready to enjoy and to contribute.
