On Saturday 21 November, Palamós hosts the XXII Winter Solstice Regatta (Regata Solstici d’Hivern), a sailing event open to all classes that sees out the autumn on the water every year. We organise it at Marina Palamós together with Gestoria & Escola Nàutica Mediñà, and it reaches its twenty-second edition with the same spirit: bringing sailors and enthusiasts together for one of the last racing days of the year on the Costa Brava.

Winter Solstice Regatta: open to all classes

The regatta does not limit entries by type of boat. Racing yachts and cruising boats can both take the start, with experienced crews or with sailors taking part in their first regatta. That mix is part of its character.

Entries and notice of race

Entries are handled by Mediñà, at palamos@medinya.com or on +34 972 316 722. The notice of race, with the start time, the course and the remaining technical details, is sent to registered crews.

Helly Hansen prize draw

As at the previous edition, Helly Hansen technical gear will be raffled among all participants.
