With this news, we would like to highlight two significant achievements. Firstly, we are proud to announce that our facilities have the Zephyr boat, which is completely electric. This boat is part of the America’s Cup, which will take place in Barcelona from June 20 to July 14. This milestone represents a major step forward in the drive for sustainable sailing, a path on which we are committed to continue to advance.

The Zephyr is equipped with two 115 HP 84 KW Electrine engines, powered by two 63 kWh batteries and a 12 kW/h AC on-board charger. With a length of 8.93 meters, she can accommodate up to 12 people. Its design has been completely conceived to be electric, which is reflected in its peculiar shape. This feature allowed the creation of a cabin in the bow, equipped with a sink, two beds and a common area.

On the other hand, last week we achieved a level of energy self-sufficiency close to 100%, thanks to the installation of the intelligent battery system and solar panels. This achievement is truly gratifying and fills us with pride.

Energy consumption from the general grid has been remarkably low, as can be seen in the graph, shown in light green.

The efficient operation of our batteries, represented by the lilac-colored line on the graph, is noteworthy. Efficient management is observed with significant charging peaks and optimized discharge time.

These results are truly impressive and bring us closer to our goal of net-zero direct emissions by 2025-2030.
